The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is Greece’s largest public university and one of the most prominent higher education and research institutions in Southeast Europe. Within PHAROS – The Greek AI Factory, AUTH participates as an affiliated partner under GRNET, contributing validated and close-to-market AI research outputs that enhance the project’s portfolio of HPC/AI services and solutions. AUTH is involved in key project tasks, including the development of business innovation and training services that support startups, SMEs, researchers, and professionals in effectively exploiting PHAROS AI infrastructures, as well as the design and delivery of specialized, sector-focused AI services, with particular emphasis on healthcare and sustainability, leveraging advanced datasets, workflows, models, and tools to deliver high-impact, application-driven AI solutions aligned with national priorities and the European AI ecosystem.

Through its involvement, AUTH facilitates the effective uptake of PHAROS services across research, industry, and the public sector, enhancing collaboration and accelerating the adoption of AI-driven solutions.
