Stefanos Kollias, Professor Emeritus at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Chairman of the Board at GRNET and Coordinator of the AI Factory “Pharos” participates at  the hybrid event: AIDA Symposium & Summer School on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Cutting Edge Trends” (AIDA AICET2025), co-organized by the International AI Doctoral Academy (AIDA) and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

Stefanos Kollias will present online on Tuesday, 15/7/2025, 17:00-18:00 EEST “AI Factories: PHAROS, Boosting the AI Ecosystem in Greece”, highlighting the mission and activities of PHAROS, Greece’s flagship AI Factory, which aims to foster AI research, innovation, and ecosystem development.

AIDA Symposium & Summer School on AI/ML Cutting-Edge Trends (AICET2025), addresses the urgent need for advanced education in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As AI, particularly through large language models and generative AI, rapidly transforms scientific fields and impacts society, including education, the labor market, and governance, there is a growing demand from both academia and industry for fast reskilling and upskilling. This event will feature a rich program of invited and peer-reviewed lectures, special sessions, tutorials, and short courses, all offering strong tutorial and review value across a wide range of cutting-edge AI/ML Topics.

The event is addressed to: AI, CS/CSE, or ECE/EE students, scientists, engineers, industry related professionals and AI enthusiasts.

AIDA AICET2025 runs under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
