PHAROS AI Factory participated in CORE Innovation Days, that took place on 10 December 2025, in Athens, Greece, an event focused on industrial digital transformation, hosted at the Benaki Museum’s new building at 138 Pireos Street. The event was organised by the CORE Innovation Centre and the Twin4Twin EU Project, bringing together industry, research and innovation stakeholders to explore technology adoption, readiness and infrastructure for industry.
PHAROS AI Factory was represented by Dr Denia Kanellopoulou (NCSR Demokritos), who presented PHAROS, Greece’s national AI initiative designed to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption across Southeastern Europe. Dr Kanellopoulou outlined PHAROS’s strategic activities aimed at strengthening industrial capabilities, supporting experimentation and helping organisations transition from early adoption to scalable impact in the regional industrial ecosystem.
Dr Kanellopoulou took part in Session A: Technology and Innovation for Industry – Adoption, Readiness, Infrastructure, and Opportunities. This session delivered insightful presentations and dynamic discussions on current trends in industrial transformation, key challenges and opportunities for technology uptake, and the role of research and innovation initiatives and funding in driving real technological impact.
Other session contributors, including representatives from SEV – Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and INCIT – International Centre for Industrial Transformation, shared perspectives on industrial challenges in Greece and the broader global readiness gap for industrial AI. Their contributions helped frame the context in which PHAROS is progressing its mission.
