On 19 February 2026, PHAROS AI Factory, organised the second part of its workshop series “Co-creating Collaboration Pathways across EU AI Innovation Initiatives in Greece”, in collaboration with the AI-on-Demand platform (AIoD), following the successful part I held on 29 January 2026.
The session was held in a hybrid format, with on-site participation at the premises of NCSR Demokritos, bringing together key stakeholders from across Greece’s AI and innovation ecosystem.
The workshop was facilitated by Christos Perentis (AIoD), Maria Venianaki and Zoey Covatsou (PHAROS AI Factory), and coordinated by Denia Kanellopoulou, Researcher at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications at NCSR Demokritos. A total of 14 participants representing Greek European Digital Innovation Hubs actively contributed to the discussions, exchanging insights and identifying practical pathways for collaboration.
The agenda featured a live demonstration of newly released content on the AI-on-Demand platform, providing participants with an overview of available tools and resources supporting AI development and deployment. The PHAROS representatives also introduced the AI Factory’s upcoming activities, highlighting its strategic priorities and planned actions designed to reinforce the national AI ecosystem and foster synergies with European initiatives.
Building on the outcomes of the first workshop, participants reviewed key findings and engaged in a structured discussion to prioritise joint activities. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing cross-sector collaboration in the health, agri-food, energy and digital government domains, areas where AI solutions can deliver significant societal and economic impact.
The workshop reaffirmed the shared commitment of Greek stakeholders to advance coordinated AI innovation efforts, reinforcing Greece’s active role within the broader European AI landscape.
