AIoD Launches Open Call 1 for SMEs: Funding and Real-World AI Deployment Opportunities

Join the AI-on-Demand Platform for the launch of Open Call 1 – Private Sector, offering up to €60,000 in equity-free funding and the opportunity to deploy AI solutions in real-world environments.

The AIoD platform is a collaborative, community-driven digital space supporting European AI research and innovation, while promoting values of quality, trustworthiness and explainability.

This Open Call targets SMEs and research organisations with mature AI products (TRL 7+), ready to transition from development to market. Through a structured three-stage programme, selected AI Providers will integrate their solutions into Europe’s leading AI ecosystem, gain visibility and validate their technology with real industry adopters.

Participants will benefit from funding, access to technical infrastructure, expert mentorship and opportunities to pitch at major European events. In the final stage, solutions will be deployed with AI Adopters (who may receive up to €15,000), enabling real-world validation and accelerating market uptake.

Applications opened on 9 April 2026 and close on 8 June 2026, 17:00 CEST, via the F6S platform. Selected applicants will be announced in August 2026, with the programme running from 1 September 2026 to 30 April 2027.

To support applicants throughout the process, a series of webinars is being organised ahead of the submission deadline. The first session, already held on 30 April, “AIoD & Open Call Overview”, introduced the platform’s vision, funding structure, and eligibility criteria. This is followed by “AIoD Technical & Business Concept” (13 May, 11:00-12:00 CEST), focusing on technical requirements and platform integration. A final session, “Live Q&A / Office Hours” (28 May, 11:00-12:00 CEST), will provide an open forum for addressing last questions before submission.
