PHAROS AI Factory Project featured in Athens Voice interview

PHAROS AI Factory Project, Greece’s national ecosystem for accelerating Artificial Intelligence innovation, was recently featured in Athens Voice through an interview with Dr Stelios Karozis, researcher at NCSR “Demokritos” and Deputy Technical Coordinator of the PHAROS AI Factory Project.

In the interview, Dr Karozis discusses the role and ambitions of the PHAROS AI Factory Project and its contribution to advancing the development and adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Greece. In this context, he highlights how advanced AI computing infrastructure, data and specialised expertise can support researchers, startups, SMEs and public organisations in developing, testing and deploying innovative AI solutions.

Building on this, Dr Karozis explains how PHAROS supports the journey from an AI idea to a real-world application by providing access to advanced computing infrastructure, specialised expertise, training and services across the Project’s three key domains: Health, Sustainability, and Language & Culture.
